Preset Bar

LX480 Preset Bar

Preset Controls

The buttons on the top row are used for preset management.

Prev Button

Clicking on Prev moves you back one preset “step” in the current preset directory.

Note

The presets are listed alphabetically but can also be sorted in a different order in the Explorer/Finder window.

Next Button

Clicking on Next moves you forward one preset “step” in the current preset directory.

Note

As with Prev, the presets are listed alphabetically but can also be sorted in a different order in the Explorer/Finder window.

Preset Menu

The Preset Menu provides quick access to a vast selection of options in both the Relab LX480 preset library and the user-created presets list.

A/B Button

The A/B button allows you to toggle between two different plug-in parameter states (A or B). This allows you to quickly and easily audition two different groups of parameter settings with a single click.

Note

Both A and B store the settings of all the parameters of BOTH engines.

+ Button

Simply stated, this is the copy button. Pressing it will take the active state (either A or B) and copy it to the other state. For instance, if A is active, the “+” button will copy that state over to B. If B is active, that state will be copied over to A.

Load Button

This button opens an Explorer/Finder window, allowing you to browse your system in order to find the preset you wish to load.

Save Button

This button opens a new Explorer/Finder window, allowing you to choose a location in which to store the selected preset file.

Here are the default locations for storing LX480 presets:

Mac: /Library/Application Support/Relab Development/LX480/Presets
Windows: C:\ProgramData\Relab Development\LX480\Presets
