A great GU-interface, a pure joy to work with. I compared it to my copy of Acustica‘s Ivory – and Relab‘s take on the maselec won in terms of efficiency and vibe.
Why only 3 stars then?
I recently purchased an Amek 200 plugin, with really no other intention of Black Fridayzüü in mind. When listening to the Relab Maselec I pulled the trigger snd opened the Amek. The result was astonishing: The Amek sounded significantly more analog with high frequencies to my ears. Warmer bigger in the bass without gettinhg boomy.
I know, I am comparing apples with oranges, but the Amek sounded way more analog while being more forgiving, in particular in the low frequency area. Sorry folks, I am just expressing my ideas and perception

I’ve tried many mastering equalizers, but none except the MEA-2 had the sound I’m looking for. It immediately spoke to me. I’m able to get the results I want so easily with this plugin. Experimentation with the mid/side processing is a lot of fun and usually leads to unique and useful results. Can’t imagine mixing or mastering without it!

This eq is truly wonderful. One of the “magic boxes” that we have and can use a tremendous amount. Having the M/S function on each band is fabulous. Love this plug-in and use it somewhere on every mix.
